Description
Hikvision DS-2CE12DF3T-F 2MP ColorVu Fixed Bullet Camera
What good is nighttime surveillance if important details disappear when the image changes to black and white? The Hikvision DS-2CE12DF3T-F delivers 1080p video with 24/7 color imaging, helping you see useful details such as clothing, vehicles, and activity after dark.
Its F1.0 aperture, built-in white light, and 130 dB true WDR produce clearer images across difficult lighting conditions. With flexible analog compatibility and an IP67-rated metal housing, this camera provides dependable protection indoors or outdoors.
Why Buyers Choose This Model
```24/7 Color Imaging — Keep Important Details Visible
ColorVu technology keeps the image in color during the day and at night. This helps you identify details that can be difficult to distinguish in conventional black-and-white nighttime footage.
2MP Full HD Resolution — Review Activity Clearly
The camera records at up to 1920 × 1080 resolution, giving you clear video for monitoring entrances, driveways, parking areas, and other important locations.
F1.0 Aperture — Capture More Available Light
The large F1.0 aperture allows more light to reach the sensor. This creates brighter nighttime images and helps you understand what occurred when surrounding light was limited.
Up to 40-Meter White Light — Illuminate Dark Areas
The built-in white supplemental light reaches up to 40 meters, or approximately 131 feet. Smart Supplement Light helps manage brightness so subjects remain easier to see after dark.
130 dB True WDR — See Through Difficult Backlighting
Bright entrances and windows can cause a person to appear dark or unclear. True WDR balances bright and shadowed areas, helping preserve more useful detail throughout the scene.
3D and 2D DNR — Produce Cleaner Video
Digital noise reduction minimizes grain and visual interference. The result is cleaner footage that is more comfortable to monitor and easier to review after an incident.
Multiple Lens Options — Select the Right Coverage
Choose the lens that best matches the area you need to monitor:
- 2.8 mm lens: A wider 106° horizontal view for broader coverage.
- 3.6 mm lens: A more focused 83° horizontal view.
Four Switchable Signals — Upgrade with More Flexibility
The camera supports TVI, AHD, CVI, and CVBS output. This provides greater flexibility when adding it to a compatible analog surveillance recorder.
Four Motion-Detection Areas — Monitor Priority Zones
Up to four programmable motion areas allow a compatible system to focus on locations such as an entrance, gate, driveway, or restricted section of a property.
IP67 Metal Housing — Dependable Outdoor Protection
The water- and dust-resistant metal enclosure is designed for demanding environments. Its operating range of -40°F to 140°F makes it suitable for indoor and outdoor installations.
Flexible Positioning — Aim Coverage Where It Matters
The adjustable bullet design supports 360° pan, 90° tilt, and 360° rotation. This gives the installer the flexibility to frame the intended area and reduce wasted coverage.
What This Camera Helps You Avoid
Imagine discovering that an incident was recorded, only to find that the nighttime image is too dark, grainy, or washed out to reveal the details you needed.
You may see that a potential suspect or vehicle entered the area, but still be unable to determine clothing colors, vehicle color, or exactly what happened. At that point, simply having a camera may not provide the confidence or clarity you expected.
The DS-2CE12DF3T-F addresses these problems with continuous color imaging, strong low-light performance, supplemental white light, true WDR, and digital noise reduction. Instead of being left with unclear black-and-white footage, you receive brighter and more informative video that is easier to understand when it matters most.
