Description
Hikvision DS-2CE12DFT-F 2MP Full-Time Color Bullet Camera
What happens when an incident occurs at night, but ordinary black-and-white footage does not preserve enough useful visual detail? The Hikvision DS-2CE12DFT-F is designed to deliver full-color 1080p surveillance around the clock, even in extremely low-light environments.
Its sensitive F1.0 imaging system, built-in white light and 130 dB true WDR help produce clearer, more balanced footage in difficult lighting conditions. With four switchable analog video formats and an IP67-rated enclosure, it offers a practical way to upgrade compatible residential or commercial surveillance systems.
Why Buyers Choose This Model
Buyers choose the DS-2CE12DFT-F when they want more than basic nighttime surveillance. Instead of depending entirely on traditional black-and-white night images, this camera is designed to preserve color throughout the scene, helping you review incidents with greater confidence.
Full-Time Color Imaging — Preserve More Useful Details After Dark
The camera produces color images during the day and in extremely low-light conditions. This can make recorded activity easier to understand when reviewing what happened around a home or business.
2MP Full HD Resolution — See the Scene Clearly
Its 2MP CMOS sensor captures video at 1920 × 1080 resolution, giving you clear Full HD footage without requiring a higher-resolution camera for everyday surveillance areas.
F1.0 Low-Light Performance — Maintain Color in Very Dark Conditions
With a minimum illumination rating of 0.0005 lux at F1.0 with AGC enabled, the camera is built to produce color video in environments where ordinary cameras may struggle.
Up to 40 m White Light — Illuminate Areas with No Available Light
When the scene reaches complete darkness, the integrated white light allows the camera to continue producing color images at distances of up to 40 meters, or approximately 131 feet.
130 dB True WDR — Balance Bright and Dark Areas
Entrances, windows and outdoor scenes can contain harsh lighting differences. True WDR helps balance these areas so that important parts of the image are less likely to appear overly dark or washed out.
3D Digital Noise Reduction — Produce Cleaner Low-Light Video
Built-in 3D DNR helps reduce visible image noise, giving you cleaner footage and a less distracting image when lighting conditions are challenging.
3.6 mm or 6 mm Fixed Lens — Select the View That Fits the Area
Choose the 3.6 mm lens for a wider 83° horizontal view or the 6 mm lens for a narrower 51° horizontal view. This allows you to select the version that better matches the coverage area.
Four Switchable Video Formats — Simplify Compatible System Upgrades
The camera supports TVI, AHD, CVI and CVBS output. This flexibility makes it suitable for a wider range of compatible HD analog surveillance systems.
Up-the-Coax Control — Adjust Supported Settings Conveniently
When used through its TVI output, the camera supports the HIKVISION-C protocol, allowing supported settings to be controlled through the existing coaxial connection.
IP67 Weather Protection — Install Indoors or Outdoors
The IP67-rated enclosure protects the camera against dust and water, making it appropriate for exposed outdoor locations as well as indoor surveillance areas.
Wide Operating Range — Dependable Performance Through Changing Weather
The camera is rated to operate from -40°F to 140°F, helping it remain dependable through demanding hot and cold conditions.
Three-Axis Adjustment — Aim the Camera Where Coverage Matters
Flexible pan, tilt and rotation adjustments allow the installer to position the camera accurately after mounting, helping reduce wasted coverage.
Privacy Masks and Motion Areas — Customize Monitored Spaces
The camera supports four programmable privacy masks and four programmable motion-detection areas, giving you greater control over how the scene is monitored.
What This Helps You Avoid
An incident can happen in seconds, but the consequences of unclear footage can last much longer. If nighttime video loses its color, bright lights hide important parts of the scene or darkness prevents the camera from producing a useful image, you may be left trying to understand what happened without enough visual information.
The DS-2CE12DFT-F addresses those problems with full-time color imaging, powerful white-light illumination, true WDR and digital noise reduction. The result is more consistent surveillance footage designed to help you see the scene clearly during both daytime and nighttime conditions.
Instead of discovering the limitations of a basic camera after an incident, this model gives you a more capable first line of visual protection for entrances, driveways, parking areas, storefronts and property perimeters.
