Description
Hikvision DS-2CD1127G0-UF(C) 2MP ColorVu Turret Camera
What would it mean to have security footage that preserves useful color details throughout the day and in extremely low-light conditions? The Hikvision DS-2CD1127G0-UF(C) combines 1080p imaging, an F1.0 super-aperture lens and ColorVu technology to produce bright, full-color video around the clock.
Its built-in microphone captures an additional layer of evidence, while PoE connectivity makes installation cleaner by carrying power and video through one network cable. With local microSD recording, efficient H.265+ compression and a weather- and vandal-resistant housing, this camera is built for dependable everyday surveillance.
Why Buyers Choose This Model
Many cameras appear sufficient during the day but lose important details as lighting decreases. Buyers choose this ColorVu model when they want a compact camera that can preserve color, capture ambient audio and withstand demanding indoor or outdoor environments.
24/7 ColorVu Imaging
See events in color instead of depending entirely on conventional black-and-white nighttime footage. Preserving details such as clothing and vehicle colors can make recorded video easier to understand and review.
F1.0 Low-Light Performance
The F1.0 super-aperture lens collects more available light, helping the camera deliver brighter images in challenging lighting conditions. Minimum illumination reaches 0.001 lux with AGC enabled.
2MP Full HD Video
Record at up to 1920 × 1080 resolution and 30 frames per second in 60 Hz environments. This provides smooth, practical video for monitoring entrances, hallways, driveways and other important areas.
Built-In Microphone
Capture ambient audio together with video for more complete event documentation. Environmental noise filtering helps improve the usefulness of recorded sound without requiring a separate microphone.
2.8 mm or 4 mm Lens Options
Choose the viewing angle that better matches the location. The 2.8 mm version provides a wider 105.2° horizontal view, while the 4 mm version offers a narrower 83.6° view with greater DORI distances.
PoE for a Cleaner Installation
Power the camera and transmit network data through one Ethernet cable using IEEE 802.3af PoE. A 12 VDC power option is also available when the installation requires it.
Local Recording Up to 256 GB
The built-in microSD card slot supports up to 256 GB of local storage. This gives you an additional recording option directly inside the camera.
Efficient H.265+ Compression
H.265+ compression helps reduce bandwidth and storage demands while maintaining useful recorded video. This can help you use available storage more efficiently than with older compression formats.
Motion and Tampering Events
Configure motion detection, video-tampering alarms and exception events so the system can react when defined activity or operating issues occur. Available linkage actions include recording, image capture, email and surveillance-center notifications.
Remote Viewing
Use Hik-Connect or iVMS-4200 to access compatible live-view and management functions. This helps you check the monitored area without having to remain in front of the recorder.
IP67 and IK10 Protection
Install with greater confidence in exposed or easily reached locations. The IP67-rated housing protects against water and dust, while the IK10 rating provides strong resistance to physical impact and vandalism.
What This Helps You Avoid
Imagine reviewing an important incident only to discover that the scene became unclear when the lighting dropped. The video may show movement, but missing color and audio details could make it harder to understand what actually happened.
The DS-2CD1127G0-UF(C) addresses that problem by combining low-light ColorVu imaging with Full HD video and ambient audio recording. Instead of relying on incomplete footage, you receive a more informative record of activity around the monitored area.
- Black-and-white footage that may remove useful color details
- Video without ambient audio to provide additional event context
- Unnecessarily complicated power and network cabling
- Excessive storage usage associated with less-efficient compression
- Environmental damage in exposed indoor or outdoor locations
- Physical damage in areas vulnerable to tampering or impact
- Depending exclusively on one recording location when local microSD storage is desired
If your current camera leaves you questioning what happened after an incident, how much more useful would your security system become with brighter color video, recorded audio and flexible storage available in one durable camera?
