The DS-2TD2628-10/QA is a bi-spectrum thermal and optical network bullet camera designed for perimeter protection and early fire prevention. The camera supports perimeter protection analytics such as line crossing, intrusion, region entrance, and region exiting. It can classify targets as human or vehicle to help reduce false alarms caused by animals or environmental factors. Up to eight VCA rules can be configured at the same time. The optical module features a 1/2.7-inch progressive scan CMOS sensor with a maximum resolution of 2688 × 1520. It supports 120 dB wide dynamic range (WDR) to handle scenes with strong backlighting. The camera has an 8 mm lens and delivers clear images in low-light conditions down to 0.0089 lux, with 0 lux supported when IR is enabled. This allows visual confirmation alongside thermal detection. 

Yes, the DS-2TD2628-10/QA supports both audio and visual alarms. It includes a white light alarm with an effective range of up to 30 meters and adjustable flashing frequencies. The camera also supports audio alarms with two preset voice alerts and up to six user-importable voice files. These alarms can be triggered by VCA events or temperature exceptions. 

The camera supports H.265 and H.264 compression for the main stream, with H.265, H.264, and MJPEG available for sub-streams. It provides multiple resolution and frame rate options for both thermal and optical channels, supporting up to 25 fps at 50 Hz or 30 fps at 60 Hz depending on the configuration. This flexibility helps balance image quality, bandwidth usage, and storage requirements. 

The DS-2TD2628-10/QA is designed for harsh outdoor environments and is rated IP67 for water and dust resistance. It also features an IK10-rated housing for vandal resistance. The camera includes TVS 6000V lightning, surge, and voltage transient protection. Its operating temperature range is -40°C to 65°C, making it suitable for extreme climates.

The camera includes the DS-1260ZJ junction box as a standard accessory. Optional mounting accessories include the DS-1276ZJ-SUS corner mount and the DS-1275ZJ-S-SUS vertical pole mount.
