In addition, it can support IP cameras—4 IP channels by default, expandable up to 12 channels total depending on configuration. This flexibility allows you to keep existing coax cameras while adding higher-resolution IP cameras where needed. IP cameras are supported up to 6 MP resolution according to the datasheet.
This DVR supports five signal types adaptively: HDTVI, AHD, HDCVI, CVBS, and IP. That means it works with a wide range of analog and IP cameras without needing additional converters. This is especially useful for upgrade projects where different camera types already exist. The DVR automatically detects the incoming signal format on each channel.
