The DVR supports HDTVI, AHD, HDCVI, CVBS and IP video inputs. Its IP channels support compatible H.265+, H.265, H.264+ and H.264 cameras at resolutions up to 8 MP.
The DS-7104HUHI-K1 provides two IP channels, expandable to six, or four channels expandable to eight when Enhanced IP mode is enabled. The DS-7108HUHI-K1 provides four IP channels, expandable to 12, or eight channels expandable to 16 in Enhanced IP mode. Each Enhanced IP mode channel supports up to 4 Mbps.
The series supports recording at up to 8 MP resolution. With 8 MP Lite mode disabled, the available encoding resolutions include 8 MP, 5 MP, 3K, 4 MP, 3 MP, 1080p, 720p, WD1, 4CIF, VGA and CIF.
With 8 MP Lite mode disabled, the main stream supports 8 MP at 8 fps, 5 MP at 12 fps, 3K at 12 fps, 4 MP at 15 fps and 3 MP at 18 fps. It supports 1080p, 720p, WD1, 4CIF, VGA and CIF at 25 fps for PAL or 30 fps for NTSC. The datasheet notes that 8 MP at 8 fps is available only on channel 1 of the DS-7104HUHI-K1.
